RTSC Communications was established as a subsidiary of Rural Telephone Service Company in 1989. Rural Telephone is a cooperative that has been serving Kansas customers for over 50 years. In addition to wire-line telephone service Rural Telephone got an early start in wireless technology by providing seven channels of IMTS telephone service using Motorola mobile telephones. In 1995, RTSC Communications expanded into wireless communications by opening a two-way radio shop and two years later in 1997 became a Motorola Radius dealer. Today under the name Nex-Tech, they currently provide sales of Radius and Motorola branded equipment and are a leader in sales and installation of Canopy wireless networking equipment. Sales and shop service are available from their office in Lenora with field service and installation provided at your location using four fully equipped service vans.
